Please consider making a donation to MWQA's legislative fund. We rely on member support to pursue issues and projects with the Minnesota Legislature, Department of Labor, Department of Health, and Minnesota Pollution Control Agency. Our efforts include monitoring legislative proposals in Minnesota, working with governmental agencies on water quality issues, and educating the public on issues such as water softener optimization and chloride discharge reduction.

Among the legislative issues MWQA has focused on include proposed restrictions on time clock softeners, proposed regulations regarding water quality and contaminants, well water testing programs, and incentives for the public to make the move to on-demand softeners.

Legislative Donation Amounts and Fees are itemized as follows:
$100 donation + $3.00 fee
$250 donation + $7.50 fee
$500 donation + $15.00 fee
$750 donation + $22.50 fee
$1000 donation + $30 fee

The Minnesota Water Quality Association is a 501(c)(6) exempt organization. 100% of contributions or gifts to MWQA are non-deductible as charitable contributions for Federal income tax purposes. Consult your tax advisor for more information.
